Few DJs have had the vision, impact and lasting influence on the local nightlife as the venerable DJ Daniel J. With his sudden passing in January 2020, hundreds of Hawaii scenesters, past and present, gathered near Waikiki Beach to celebrate the love-and-light-filled life of Daniel J. Ward.
