Kicking off the 10th episode of B-Side HNL is homegrown emcee collective Angry Locals and their video for “U Down”, a breezy weekend barbecue jam, straight outta Ala Moana Beach Park. Over at Easy Music Center, the fourth qualifier of Lightsleepers‘ Beatroot competition aims to find the latest great beatmaker in the HNL. Also featured is a fresh-as-fuck music video by L.A. future-soul outfit The Internet and “Dueling Alphas”, a smart short film by Orlando Benedicto that illustrates just how small this competitive, ever-developing city can sometimes seem.
