As fanzine enthusiasts gather in Honolulu’s Chinatown for Hawaii Zine Fest, B-Side HNL speaks with its founder and organizer, Natalie Nakasone as well as participants in the inaugural event. This episode also features praiseworthy works such as “Red Hook”, a film short by Jack and Danny Gregory spotlighting artist Tommy Kane as well as another ingenious contribution by crackerjack animator Victoria Vincent. Much thanks to these contributors for allowing us to present their works. We are also grateful to HIP Video Promo for turning us on to music videos like Just Loud‘s “Electrified”; “Loading Zones” by Kurt Vile and “Thorns” by Tremble. Great episode!
